Baja Studios has several rules, which are related to safety and substance abuse.

1. No drugs are allowed on the studio lot or at its outside perimeter. This is a serious offense in Mexico.
2. No alcohol is allowed except under special permission by production staff at special events.
3. No weapons or ammunition are allowed. This is a serious offense in Mexico.
4. The lot is patrolled by local police. Illegal activity puts you in jeopardy of arrest.
5. The maximum speed limit on the lot is 5 mph.
6. No vehicles are allowed beyond the office parking areas without special permission from production or studio management.
7. All vehicles are subject to inspection upon leaving the studio.
8. Trash must be placed in trash containers.
9. ID badges should be visible at all times.
10. Smoking is prohibited inside the buildings, stages and tanks.
11. Place all cigarette butts in ashtrays.
12. Hazardous waste should be disposed of in appropriate containers.
13. Visitors are allowed at the studio by filling a visitor form at least 24 hrs. in advance of the visit. Forms are at the front gate and they have to be authorized by production or management.
14. Every personal item brought into the studio is the responsibility of its owner.
15. Removal of equipment and material from the studio should be authorized by the department supervisor with a signed equipment and material release form.
16. Bicycles are not allowed inside the buildings.
